HTX
beta-galactosidase Assay Kit
Measure Levels in Less Than 15 Minutes
Easily quantitate interactors from yeast two-hybrid screens
In a typical yeast two-hybrid or DUALmembrane screen, dozens or even hundreds of putative interactors are often identified. Commonly used assays to detect beta-galactosidase activity, such as the filter lift assay or the ONPG assay, are either not quantitative or very cumbersome to use. In contrast, the HTX kit yields semi-quantitative measurements with minimal handling.
