An all-in-one DNA polymerase master mix, this product offers repeatable results capable of efficiently amplifying a specific target sequence from viral, bacterial, plant or mammalian genome present in a variety of sample types (see veterinary use as an example). Each sealed 0.2 ml PCR tube contains all the components needed for gel-based analysis of your sample - just add template and primers. The mix utilizes hot start technology to reduce primer-dimer amplification, has a low detection limit perfect for rare targets and compares favorably with PCR products from other name brand sources. Its simplicity is a hallmark of good SOP for diagnostic studies, reducing the chances of adding human error into sample analyses.

Reduce PCR carryover contamination

8-Methoxypsoralen (8-MOP) is a simple and inexpensive technology that can be used to eliminate contaminating DNA from earlier experiments. 8-MOP is known to intercalate into double stranded nucleic acids and form a covalent inter-strand crosslink after photo-activation by incident light at wavelength 320-400 nm. Samples can be treated after analysis to ensure that exposed amplicons won't serve as templates for future experiments.
