Capture the moment

Increasingly, researchers are using live-cell imaging to study cellular functions. The JuLi cell analyzer was designed to capture it all. Take live video or time-lapse photos and merge them into video using bright field, fluorescence, or both. The self-contained CPU and high resolution display means that the device never needs to be removed from the cell culture hood, incubator or wherever it is located. This minimizes contamination issues and eliminates concerns regarding cell perturbations that often accompany removal from an incubator. Better yet, it greatly simplifies capturing images over the course of hours or days. Just set the parameters and walk away. The JuLi does the rest. There is even a wireless option for remote control of the JuLi and viewing cells in real-time over a network via a PC and/or iPhone.

Cell imaging gone digital

The stand-alone JuLi Cell Analyzer makes imaging living cells and tissue remarkably easy. Its elegant optical design of LED illumination and CMOS digital detection promises years of hassle free imaging. Choose your model: red, green or blue illumination for fluorescence studies – every system also has a white LED for bright field analysis. It acts like a fluorescence microscope with 80x total magnification, but at less than half the price. Create movies: view an example of wound healing captured with time-lapse video using U2OS cells labeled with GFP. Create long-duration cell analyses: view a bright field photo panel of apidocyte differentiation over a 21 day period. Perform cell morphology studies: view a bright field analysis of a HeLa cell changing shape over 12 hours. Study transfection efficiencies: view fluorescence images of 3 different cell types being transfected with GFP.
