These DNA markers are conveniently provided with regular spacing of 50, 200, or 250 base pairs. There’s no need to interpolate non-linear rungs of a λ HindIII digest or suffer through other similarly archaic approaches. With Bioer DNA Markers, there’s plenty of each size fragment (50 ng per band) such that visualization with ethidium bromide, or safer dyes (like Midori Green and RedSafe, both available from Bulldog Bio) is crystal clear. Better yet, there’s always a single fragment at double the concentration (100 ng), so that orienting the ladder is intuitive. Because the loading dye is incorporated, simply load 5 µl into an agarose gel and you are ready to run.
