Destroy and Remove Biomolecular Contamination
BioZerO™ is Bulldog Bio’s next-generation laboratory decontamination spray engineered to inactivate and remove contaminating DNA, RNA, proteins, bacteria, and viruses from common laboratory surfaces.

Application is simple: spray, wait, rinse, and wipe.

BioZerO is ideal for molecular biology environments where even trace biomolecular contamination can compromise PCR, qPCR, sequencing, or immunodetection workflows. The formulation actively degrades nucleic acids and proteins, rendering them non-amplifiable and easily removable from treated surfaces. While not intended for highly resistant organisms such as mycobacteria (see MycO-ZerO for that application), BioZerO is highly effective against common laboratory contaminants including E. coli and standard research-associated microbes. An excellent choice for routine laboratory practice, BioZerO helps maintain clean, amplification-ready workspaces.

How effective is it for PCR cross contamination?
BioZerO Spray has been tested against a broad range of biomolecules including DNA and RNA. Here are some results demonstrating its effectiveness to eliminate and remove contaminating DNA for applications such as PCR or qPCR:

Can it inactivate persistent enzymes? Yes.
BioZerO is formulated to neutralize a wide range of problematic contaminants — including stubborn enzymes. As shown below, BioZerO effectively inactivates residual RNase that may be present on countertops, pipettes, and instrument surfaces. This makes it an excellent choice for maintaining RNase-free environments for RNA work and other sensitive applications.

Does it work against living contaminants? Yes.
BioZerO doesn’t just neutralize and remove biomolecules like DNA, RNA, and proteins — it also eliminates common laboratory microbes. That means you’re not only reducing amplification-ready contamination, you’re also helping maintain a cleaner and safer research environment. Below is data demonstrating its effectiveness against E. coli and other commonly found bacteria under laboratory test conditions.
