CleanDTR Dye Terminator Removal Beads
Sanger Sequencing Clean Up Kit
Gold standard paramagnetic bead protocol is simple and scalable
CleanDTR is an efficient, paramagnetic bead-based system, designed to remove unincorporated dye terminators from Sanger sequencing reactions prior to capillary electrophoresis. The process involves just three simple steps: bind, wash, and elute. With this kit, the sequencing product will selectively bind to the magnetic particles. Unincorporated dyes, nucleotides, salts, and primers will flow through and be discarded during ethanol washes. This principle allows for elution of pure Sanger Sequencing product in your choice of elution buffer. The protocol can be performed manually or adapted to your current liquid handling workstation (e.g. Beckman, Hamilton, Tecan, Caliper, Perkin Elmer, Agilent, or Eppendorf) utilizing your same protocol.
Amazing results as compared with other options
A superior alternative to other “clean-up” products, including ones based upon Sephadex, precipitation, and filtration. CleanDTR beads are most like other magnetic bead technologies, offering results superior to other reagents but at a lower cost.
Many labs still perform ethanol clean-up protocols to prepare their terminator sequencing reactions for running on a sequencer instrument. CleanDTR offers considerable improvement in the resulting sequence reads, and at only marginally higher cost.
