The FastGene® CapMaster Pro capper and decapper is an innovative solution designed to automate the handling of sample tube caps for a wide range of applications such as cell culture. This instrument allows one to open and close centrifuge tubes, storage tubes or cryo tubes quickly with just one hand, while still being able to hold the pipette in the other. Not only does it reduce instances of cap dropping, it increases efficiency with repetitive pipetting needs. The system comes standard with 5 operating modes and fits in most hoods, cabinets, and benchtops.
Broad compatibility
The device is suitable for use with cap diameters of 11-40 mm, such as:
- Microcentrifuge tubes (e.g., FastGene® Screw Cap Tubes)
- Cryo tubes (e.g. FastGene® Cryo Tubes)
- 15 mL centrifuge tubes (e.g. FastGene® Centrifuge Tubes 15 mL)
