The FastGene NanoView Photometer is an ultra-compact three wavelength spectrophotometer. Integrating both a 2 µL microvolume-measuring mode and a larger volume cuvette-measuring mode, its microvolume capacity enables fast and easy quantification and analysis of nucleic acids and proteins by traditional UV-Vis absorption spectrophotometry methods. The NanoView utilizes long lived LEDs as a light source — which are capable of quickly measuring a sample’s absorbance spectrum at 260 nm, 280 nm, and/or 600 nm wavelength(s).
Focused spectral analysis
Unlike the FastGene NanoSpec Photometer which performs a full spectrum analysis, the FastGene NanoView quantifies nucleic acids and proteins with highest reliability via absorption measurement at 260 nm, 280 nm and 600 nm.
The 10 pre-programmed default measurement modes cover most so that no adjustment is needed. But customization is possible for those needing something special.
