TruSphere Plate Inserts

Simplify multicellular spheroid & organoid generation
The TruSphere Plate is a culture plate insert for creating uniform and precisely-sized spheroids and organoids. This unique design  enables the creation of 100’s of spheroids from a single pipette cell-seeding step. The transparent hydrogel insert is perfectly suited to various types of assays and standard laboratory imaging equipment — making it an ideal choice for a wide range of experiments. With an open-well design the transfer of spheroids to plates for drug testing or additional assay conditions is seamless.

Each of the micro-wells is uniquely designed so that only a single spheroid can nestle in its deep, hemispherical divot. This greatly reduces the risk of losing spheroids during media changes. The TruSphere Plate insert offers the added benefit of low starting cell concentrations and minimized media requirements. Once the spheroid grows to full size, its diameter will equal the diameter of the micro-well.

Compatible with IHC and IF microscopy analyses
One defining trait of TruSphere Plate inserts is the ease of performing downstream analyses either in the cell culture plate or directly on the TruSphere hydrogel matrix. It is easy to image spheroids in situ allowing for rapid and precise IHC analysis.
