NSSB-300 Mechanical Vibration Instrument
Improving Oocyte and Embryo Incubation
Embryos love to be shaken not stirred
Recent published studies show that micro-vibration of pre-implantation embryos dramatically increases fertilization rates. In nature, embryos are exposed to vibration at a slow rate of 6 hz and short bursts of 20Hz. It’s this latter, fast micro-vibration of oviductal fluid being agitated by the cilia that appearsto be important. When these short bursts are mimicked using the NSSB-300 Mechanical Vibration Instrument, rates of pregnancy can increase by as much as 50%. The entire vibrational table is designed to fit snugly into various incubation chambers ready to apply micro-vibration at set intervals. Typically the NSSB-300 System is set to vibrate for a mere 5 seconds once every hour for maximum effect. Take your in vitro fertilization technique to the next level.
Efficient production of blastocysts using periodic vibration
Pig follicular oocytes were matured in vitro with or without mechanical vibration. Matured oocytes were activated by ultrasound and cultured in vitro.
Pig follicular oocytes were matured in vitro with or without mechanical vibration. Matured oocytes were enucleated and fused with miniature pig somatic cells to produce SCNT embryos. The embryos were activated by ultrasound and cultured in vitro.
